Battlefield 6 multiplayer gameplay and beta release date leaked

Battlefield 6 multiplayer gameplay and beta release date leaked

28 July 2025

Battlefield fans from all over the world are looking forward to Thursday, July 31st, 2025. On that date, the official reveal for the latest franchise of the hugely popular first-person shooter will take place, as announced earlier this month on the game’s official X account.

A few days before the big international esports reveal though, footage has been leaked of the new game’s multiplayer gameplay. Various players have uploaded videos, some of which have a length of no less than 40 minutes, of Battlefield 6’s supposed multiplayer mode. And that’s not all, because the supposed release date of the Battlefield 6 beta has also been leaked.

Beta version launch

First of all, the leaked date for the launch of the Battlefield 6 beta version. According to various sources online, including the reputed X account Battlefield Intel, the beta release is planned for Monday, August 4th. On the website of Battlefield Labs, it is mentioned that the game is currently in its beta phase, which could support the leak.

The leaked date for the beta version would also fit the planning for the game’s official release, which is set for October 10th, 2025. While this date has not yet been officially confirmed by EA DICE, a Swedish branch of Electronic Arts and the official developer of the Battlefield franchise, the leak was brought into the world by a reliable leaker who goes by the name of billbil-kun. He also mentioned that Battlefield 6 will hit PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S at a price of $ 80 for the standard edition of the game.

Multiplayer mode leak

While the leak concerning the launch of the beta version was big news, it was the leaked footage of Battlefield 6’s multiplayer mode that drew most of the attention. In the past few days, several sources have uploaded footage and videos of the game to their social media channels. While EA have done their best to take down the footage, some of the videos are still available, including a few videos of about 40 minutes long.

Two of the most-viewed videos were uploaded by YouTubers ZYTALIX and YH93Gaming, with lengths of respectively 37 minutes and 7 minutes. Experts have already confirmed that the footage is from Battlefield 6’s pre-alpha build, but the graphics look very polished already. While neither of the leaks have been confirmed as authentic by EA themselves, they do give a good insight into what to expect from the long-anticipated game.

Official multiplayer reveal

Those waiting for an official finished product will have to do so until Thursday, July 31st, when the official reveal of the Battlefield 6 multiplayer mode will take place. The event will be on Battlefield’s own YouTube and Twitch channels, and will give players and fans an overview of the maps and modes included in the game. After that, a group of popular content creators will stream the game on their channels and on August 2nd, there will be an exclusive offline reveal event in Hong Kong.
