Program for Dreamhack Dallas 2025 announced
25 March 2025
After an absolute record-breaker of an event last year, Dreamhack Dallas is back in 2025 with hopes of even more. In 2024, the premier international esports festival for fighting games attracted no less than 55.000 visitors, which meant a historic record for the events, and the organization is aiming at breaking that record again, just a year later. From May 23rd, 2025, to May 25th, 2025, Dreamhack Dallas 2025 will be held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas and the full program for the festival has just been published by the organizers.
Stacked schedule at Dreamhack Dallas 2025
Just a quick first glance at the program for Dreamhack Dallas 2025 confirms that several popular international esports titles will be featuring again this year, including Counter-Strike and Call of Duty. The upcoming Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Dallas, for example, will be held during Dreamhack Dallas 2025. That’s not that surprising though, if we remember that Dallas is actually the birthplace of competitive Counter-Strike in the United States.
IEM Dallas 2025 is far from the only high-profile tournament to take place at Dreamhack Dallas 2025. Activision, the company behind Call of Duty, for example, is bringing the fourth and final Major of the current season to the event, which means bringing the twelve best Call of Duty teams to Dallas. Special tickets have been made available for people who want to Call of Duty Major IV live as well, starting at just $ 19 per person for a simple single ticket for one day.
Amongst many other events and tournaments, the Brawl Cup 2025 is also worth mentioning. That’s because Brawl Stars will be making its North American debut at Dreamhack Dallas 2025 and they want to make a lasting impression. The eight best Brawl Stars teams in the world will be competing for a share of the Brawl Cup prize pool, which has been set at $ 50.000. On top of that, the winners will also get a World Finals or Last Chance Qualifier spot for their home region.
"Esports is a pillar of how the community celebrates DreamHack Dallas, and we’re pulling out all the stops this year," says Shahin Zarrabi, Vice President of Festivals at ESL FACEIT Group, "From mainstays like IEM Dallas to iconic esports titles like Halo and Call of Duty to rising games like Brawl Stars and GeoGuessr, DreamHack Dallas is set to be nothing short of massive. It will be the biggest multi-esports event ever hosted on American soil – a spectacle unlike anything the region has seen before.”
