Team Vitality and GG.BET launch prediction game in Vitality app

The world of international esports has been expanding almost exponentially over the past decade or so, and in its slipstream, betting on esports has become much more popular in the last few years. More and more both traditional and new (online) casinos and bookmakers are offering their respective members the possibility to place bets on various esports events, like The International for Dota 2 and the different Counter-Strike: Global Offensive majors that are being organized every year. As international esports keep growing, so will betting on esports, which is why French organization Team Vitality recently announced a new collaboration with betting company GG.BET. Together, the two companies have launched a prediction game in Vitality’s own V.Hive app.
Earning rewards in the Team Vitality app
Team Vitality is a Paris-based esports organization that has built up a reputation over the years as one of the major esports organizations in Europe. They compete in various popular esports titles, including FIFA and Valorant, and they have their own app for their fans as well. The app is called V.Hive, which is also the name of Vitality’s headquarters in Paris. It was developed with the help of blockchain company Tezos and offers users the opportunity to complete quests and collect rewards.
The newest addition to the V.Hive app is a new mini-game that is simply called Prediction Game. This game is the promising result of a collaboration between Team Vitality and GG.BET, an online betting site that has been operating under a Curaçao Gaming License since 2016. The goal of the game is for users to earn rewards by correctly predicting the outcomes of matches in which Vitality teams are active. A correct prediction gives the user experience points and these experience points can be converted into rewards once he or she has collected enough of them. Rewards include limited edition merchandise, access to exclusive events, and other unique experiences. More details in this regard are expected over the coming weeks and months.
“We are thrilled to work with GG.BET to deepen our connection with our fans and bring forward a wave of excitement to the global ranking”, said Nicolas Maurer, CEO at Team Vitality, in reaction to the announcement of the partnership with GG.BET, “We are pleased to bring an innovative new way to bridge the gap between Team Vitality and our fans and look forward to bringing new and exciting features to the app in the future”.
Not Vitality’s first commercial deal
While the in-app collab with GG.BET feels like a promising step for Vitality, the betting company is far from the organization’s first high-profile partnership. We already mentioned Main Partner Tezos, but the French team has managed to rake in quite a few other deals as well. Its Major Partner, for example, is world-famous Danish sport and lifestyle brand Hummel, while German supermarket chain Aldi and global beauty giant Garnier Fructis feature amongst their official partners and suppliers, just to name a few big names.
